About Our Farm

Dane Soilless Farms is a forward-thinking agricultural enterprise committed to revolutionizing food production through sustainable, soil-free farming methods. Our mission is to empower the next generation of farmers with the skills, tools, and market access they need to thrive in modern agriculture.

At the heart of our model is the Farmer Field School—an intensive training and mentorship program designed to equip young, passionate individuals with practical knowledge in soilless cultivation, farm management, and agribusiness.

After training, these farmers are supported to operate their own cluster farms, which are strategically positioned and professionally managed under the Dane Soilless network. To ensure profitability and reduce post-harvest losses, we provide guaranteed off-taker agreements, connecting our farmers directly with premium markets and institutional buyers.

This model not only secures income for our growers but also ensures a consistent supply of high-quality produce for our partners. At Dane Soilless Farms, we’re not just growing food—we’re growing people, communities, and the future of agriculture.

Understanding Our Approach

Our Carbon Credit Approach

At Dane Soilless Farms, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. One of our innovative environmental strategies involves the use of rice hulls —an abundant agricultural byproduct—as a raw material to produce biochar. Through a controlled pyrolysis process, rice hulls are converted into biochar, a stable form of carbon that can be stored in soil for hundreds to thousands of years.
This process not only reduces the release of harmful methane and carbon dioxide that would typically occur if rice hulls were burned or left to decompose, but it also enriches our growing medium by improving water retention, nutrient efficiency, and microbial activity. By transforming agricultural waste into a tool for climate action, Dane Soilless Farms is not only feeding communities but also contributing to a **net-zero future**—one farm, one credit at a time.
